Job Purpose:
The Head of Marketing, Member Experience & Growth is responsible for driving CIB Ghana’s
strategic objectives through innovative marketing, exceptional member experience, and
sustainable membership growth. This role leads initiatives to expand and retain membership—
including students, members, fellows, and other stakeholders—while enhancing brand visibility,
digital presence, and stakeholder engagement. The position oversees strategic partnerships, media
relations, and flagship programmes such as Bankers’ Week, CPD initiatives, and the Banking
Academy.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Marketing & Growth:
o Develop and execute integrated marketing, enrolment, and growth strategies
aligned with CIB Ghana’s strategic plan.
o Implement digital marketing campaigns to boost visibility and engagement. - Membership Development:
o Drive student and professional enrolment through targeted outreach to tertiary
institutions and banks.
o Enhance membership retention and engagement through innovative programmes
and events. - Branding & Visibility:
o Design impactful branding strategies to strengthen CIB Ghana’s market presence.
o Organize thought leadership events, webinars, and student fairs. - Stakeholder Engagement:
o Build and maintain strong relationships with members, fellows, students, and
external partners.
o Manage MOUs with tertiary institutions to support student enrolment. - Member Experience:
o Lead initiatives to improve member satisfaction and involvement in Institute
activities.
o Oversee events such as Bankers’ Week and Member Connect. - Programme Oversight:
o Collaborate on CPD programme design and delivery.
o Manage Banking Academy operations and partnerships. - Media Relations:
o Implement media strategies to enhance positive coverage and brand reputation.
Qualifications - Chartered Banker (preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related discipline
- Master’s degree or equivalent professional qualification in business or marketing.
Experience - Proven track record in marketing, business development, and membership growth with a
minimum of Eight (8) years’ work experience. - Strong understanding of the banking sector and media landscape.
- Experience in stakeholder engagement and strategic partnerships.

VACANCY: HEAD, INTERNAL AUDIT
Job Purpose:
The Head, Internal Audit is responsible for delivering independent, risk-based audit and assurance
services to the Governing Council and Management by conducting periodic reviews of all units to
confirm compliance with regulatory requirements and uphold adherence to internal policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of Internal Control Systems and
Policies that protect the Institute’s assets and ensure compliance with laws, regulations,
and internal procedures, and recommend improvements where necessary. - Conduct risk-based internal audits on departmental operating reports, documentation and
practices and generate control reports and queries that ensure compliance with established
internal control procedures. - Prepare and submit a quarterly internal audit report to the Governing Council, including
recommendations necessary for the effective management of the Institute’s affairs. - In accordance with subsection (4) of section 16 of the Internal Audit Agency Act, 2003
(Act 658), submit a copy of each report prepared to Chairperson of the Council and the
Chief Executive Officer. - Arrange for the submission of the Institute’s annual report to the Minister of Education
within thirty (30) days of receiving the audit report, detailing the Institute’s activities and
operations for the relevant year. - Collect and analyze data to identify deficient controls or non-compliance with regulations
and management policies. - Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, effectiveness and value for money and
provide practical recommendations to Management. - Report to the Council about asset utilization and audit results and recommend changes in
operations and financial activities where necessary. - Review the Institute’s account books and accounting systems regularly to ensure efficient
and effective use of accepted accounting procedures in recording transactions. - Examine and evaluate financial and information systems, recommending controls to ensure
system reliability and data integrity. - Collaborate with the Digital and Technology Department to support the development,
maintenance, and management of key systems and processes for Business Continuity
Planning.
Qualifications - Chartered Banker (preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or relevant field with a minimum of ten (10) years’ work
experience in an accounting role. - Second degree (MA, MSc, or MBA) in accounting or a related field (advantageous).
- Professional membership with the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana (ICA Ghana),
ACCA, or other recognized accounting body. - Professional membership with the Institute of Internal Auditors or another relevant
professional body.
Knowledge & Experience - Thorough knowledge of accounting and auditing principles and procedures.
- A minimum of five (5) years extensive knowledge and experience in operational or
managerial auditing - Extensive knowledge and experience in data protection and information security.
- Knowledge of Information Technology and its use in the management and security of
personal data.

VACANCY: DRIVER & DISPATCH RIDER
The Driver and Dispatch Rider is responsible for providing safe, timely, and efficient driving and dispatch
services to support the Institute’s operations. This includes transporting staff and guests, delivering official
correspondence and parcels, and ensuring proper maintenance of assigned vehicles and motorcycle. The
Driver & Dispatch rider reports directly to the Head of HR & Administration.
Duties
- Safely transport staff and guests to designated destinations.
- Collect and deliver official documents, parcels, and correspondence promptly.
- Ensure both assigned vehicle and motorbike are clean, roadworthy, and serviced regularly.
- Conduct daily checks on vehicles and motorbikes (fuel, oil, brakes, tires, etc.).
- Maintain accurate vehicle logbooks, trip reports, and delivery records.
- Comply with all traffic laws, road safety standards, and Institute policies.
- Safeguard confidential documents and parcels while in transit.
- Report accidents, faults, or damages promptly to the HR & Administration Manager.
- Assist with loading/unloading of items when required.
Education & Experience - Minimum of WASSCE or equivalent.
- Valid Driver’s License (Category C or higher).
- Valid Motor Rider’s License.
- At least two (2) years’ proven combined experience in professional driving and dispatch/delivery
services. - Sound knowledge of traffic laws and road safety regulations.
Competencies & Skills - Excellent driving and riding skills, including defensive driving/riding.
- High sense of responsibility, confidentiality, and integrity.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
- Able to multitask and prioritize tasks based on urgency and importance.
