Mrs. Margaret Jaka is an accomplished Finance and Accounting professional with over 15 years of experience across financial reporting, budgeting and performance management, auditing, and tax planning. She is recognized for her ability to position finance as a strategic partner—driving growth, enhancing value creation, and supporting long-term business objectives.
As the Head of Finance and Strategy at the Chartered Institute of Bankers, Ghana (CIB Ghana), Mrs. Jaka leads the Institute’s financial operations and strategic planning initiatives. She plays a key role in aligning financial performance with organizational goals, and ensuring fiscal sustainability.
Before joining CIB Ghana, she served as the Finance Controller at Kantar, a multinational corporation, where she also acted as Decision Support Lead for West, East, and Central Africa. In this dual role, she provided strategic insights to leadership across regions, guiding business decisions through financial analytics and forecasting. She was also a Board Member for Millward Brown and TNS RMS International, Ghana.
Earlier in her career, she held the position of Finance Manager at Millward Brown Ghana, where she led finance operations and supported business expansion and governance initiatives.
Mrs. Jaka is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA, UK) and has been a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana, since 2019. She holds a Master’s degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Ghana and a First Degree in Accounting from Wisconsin International University College, Ghana.
In addition to her role, she contributes to the governance of the Institute as a member of the Executive Committee (EXCO) and CIB Ghana’s Council Standing Committee on Finance.
