Patrick leads the Member Experience, Regulations and Business Development department of the Institute including continuing professional development and professional conduct regulations.

Before joining the banking industry, Patrick Baah Abankwa began his career as a Financial Analyst at Omni Energy where he managed the commercial desk in charge of formulating of pricing templates, preparing financial reports, and monitoring of stock levels. He moved to Guaranty Trust Bank, Ghana as an Account Officer and rose to become a Relationship Manager. Prior to joining CIB Ghana, Patrick worked with OmniBsic Bank as a Branch Manager where he led the Branch’s operations and business development initiatives.

In terms of his academic laurels, Patrick has earned an Executive MBA from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Ghana. His professional journey and credentials showcase a commitment to continuous growth and the pursuit of excellence.
