Mr. William Adasi, FCIB,  is a product of University of Cape Coast where he acquired his Bachelor of Commerce Degree and Diploma in Education. From August 2005 to May 2007, he pursued a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (Finance Option) at University of Ghana, Legon.

Mr. Adasi is Fellow of Chartered Institute of Bankers, Ghana and a Chartered Accountant. He also holds Executive Certificate in Leadership in Action from Institute of Leadership & Management, Washington DC, USA.

He is currently the Head of Finance of Chartered  Institute of Bankers,Ghana.

In January 1999 he moved from Produce Buying Company Limited (PBCL) and joined CRA Limited (Group) as an Accountant responsible for the preparation of payroll, management accounts, final accounts as well as maintaining relations with banks.

From 2005 to 2007, Mr. Adasi lectured at Zenith University College before joining the Chartered Institute of Bankers (Ghana) in November 2007as Head of Finance.

Since 2012 he has been teaching Financial Reporting at the Institute of Chartered Accountants Ghana School.

Mr. William Adasi has served on the Chartered Institute of Bankers Council’s Standing Committee on Finance for the past 10 years.

He is also a member of the Executive Committee of Chartered Institute of Bankers, Ghana.
