Examination Structure and Conducts

  • The professional course of Chartered Institute of Bankers, Ghana is made up of four levels.

Level 1

1.1 The Monetary & Financial System

1.2 Law & Financial Services Regulation

1.3 Customer Experience and Service Excellence

1.4 Ethics and Professionalism

Level 2

2.1 Financial & Quantitative Analysis for Decision Making

2.2 Credit Risk Management

2.3 Operations Management in Financial Services

2.4 Enterprise Risk Management

Level 3

3.1 Technology & Data Analytics in Financial Services

3.2 Retail Banking and Wealth Management

3.3 Corporate & Investment Banking

3.4 Treasury Management and Trade Finance

Level 4

4.1 Strategy, Leadership, Governance, Risk, Ethics and Sustainability

 

  • Examinations are held twice a year, April, and October. There is no order for the selection of courses for examination registration; candidates are however expected to complete one level or at least be left with one subject before proceeding to the next level.
