Empowering Women in Finance: CIB Ghana and UNICOF Champion Ethics and Leadership Training

Chartered Institute of Bankers, Ghana (CIB Ghana), in partnership with the Union of Industry, Commerce and Finance (UNICOF), recently delivered a transformative two-day training programme, “Ethics and Leadership for Women in Banking,” at the CIB Ghana auditorium.

This impactful initiative was designed to equip women in the financial sector with essential ethical decision-making and leadership skills, empowering them to excel in their careers and navigate the complexities of today’s banking environment. The training forms part of CIB Ghana’s ongoing commitment to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 5 (Gender Equality), reinforcing the Institute’s dedication to fostering a more inclusive and equitable financial industry.

The programme welcomed 31 talented women from six leading financial institutions, all eager to enhance their professional capabilities and leadership potential.

The sessions were expertly facilitated by Mr. Robert Dzato, CEO of CIB Ghana, and Bishop Rev. Patricia Sappor, former President of the Institute and renowned women’s empowerment advocate.
